MBMB Warriors defeated Perma FC with a 4-1 scoreline in Malacca League FA Cup final match

Pasukan MBMB Warriors menewaskan Perma FC di perlawanan akhir Piala FA Liga Melaka dengan keputusan 4-1 di Stadium Hang Tuah. MBMB Warriors telah menewaskan Pulau Sebang FC dengan jaringan 1-0 manakala Perma FC telah mengalahkan Tampoi FC dengan jaringan 6-1 di separuh akhir untuk menempah tempat ke perlawanan akhir Piala FA.

MBMB tidak mengambil masa yang lama untuk mendahului kedudukan apabila Azuwad Md Arip menewaskan penjaga gol Perma FC, Mohd Rafi Ramli pada minit ke-7. Walaupun ketinggalan dengan satu gol, Perma FC banyak membuat serangan tetapi banyak dikekang oleh pertahanan tengah MBMB, Amrie Abdullah. Pada minit ke-30, pemain MBMB, Syazly Sarudin menjadikan kedudukan 2-0 dari sudut yang sukar. Mohammad Adli menambah jaringan MBMB pada minit ke-40 dengan rembatan kencang kaki kiri menjadikan kedudukan 3-0. Abdul Mutahir merapatkan kedudukan untuk Perma FC dengan menyempurnakan sepakan penalti di masa tambahan separuh masa pertama menjadikan kedudukan 3-1.

Separuh masa kedua, Perma FC bermula agak garang dan Jamree Md Jani hampir menjaringkan gol tetapi tandukannya tersasar. Pertahanan Perma FC, Riduan Jaafar membuat larian mengelirukan beberapa pemain MBMB malangnya rembatannya juga dapat dihalang oleh Amrie. Kebangkitan Perma FC tidak kesampaian apabila Abdul Mutahir dilayangkan kad merah selepas menerima kad kuning keduanya pada minit ke-66. Gol keempat MBMB dijaringkan oleh Noorasid Noordin pada minit ke-85.

Piala disampaikan oleh YB Ar Haji Ismail bin Haji Omar, Exco Kerajaan Negeri Melaka kepada juara Piala FA Liga Melaka 2017, MBMB Warriors di hadapan 1,500 penonton yang datang menyokong pasukan masing-masing.

It did not take long for MBMB to take the lead as in the 7th minute, Azuwad Md Arip’s one on one opportunity defeated Perma FC’s goalkeeper, Mohd Rafi Ramli. Despite the goal, Perma FC kept on attacking but was numerously thwarted by MBMB’s central defender, Amrie Abdullah. In the 30th minute, MBMB’s Syazly Sarudin scored from a tight angle to make it 2-0. Mohamad Adli added MBMB’s goal tally in the 40th minute with a thunderous left footed shot to make it 3-0. Abdul Mutahir converted a penalty for Perma FC to make it 3-1 during the extra time of the first half.

In the second half, Perma FC started brightly and Jamree Md Jani almost scored with a header but it went wide. Perma FC defender, Riduan Jaafar made some mazy runs to deceive the MBMB’s players but his shot was also blocked by Amrie. Perma FC’s fightback was cut short when Sairol Nizam was sent off for receiving his second yellow card in the 66th minute. MBMB’s fourth goal was scored by Noorasid Noordin.

The trophy was presented by Malacca State EXCO, YB Ar Haji Ismail Bin Haji Omar to the winners of 2017 Malacca League FA Cup, MBMB Warriors in front of 1,500 spectators that came to support their respected teams.
