After crossing the South China Sea 3 days ago by defeating Sarawak FA, Melaka United carried their winning momentum by beating Kelantan FA 0-2 at Kota Bharu.

Kelantan FA controlled the match in the first 10 minutes of the first half with only Jeon Woo Young’s long ranged shot rattled the crossbar with Khairul Fahmi beaten. Melaka United’s goalkeeper, Fazli Paat continued his fine form by making a 2 point blank saves from Kelantan’s top striker Ghaddar.

Supersub Fauzi Roslan was introduced in the final minutes of the match and again, Jeon Woo Young laid a well precised pass to Fauzi Roslan to score Melaka United’s second goal with his left foot in the injury time and silenced the 8,900 supporters that came to Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium.

Williams seems to found his first eleven with 3 wins in a row with 2 victories playing away and 3 clean sheets. Melaka United will continue their Malaysian Super League conquests against the in form Pahang FA this Saturday at Hang Jebat Stadium.
